The Barge Inn in Seend Cleeve is located on the banks of the Kennet & Avon Canal, where you’ll feel relaxed within seconds of gazing out over the water.
Our spacious beer garden takes full advantage of the stunning canal backdrop, with plenty of tables and chairs spread around the large patio and garden area, all shaded with parasols on sunny days.
During the summer weekends, enjoy BBQs, wood-fired pizzas, and refreshing drinks served straight from the outdoor bar.
For cooler months, we put up a large, heated canopy in our dog-friendly beer garden, illuminated by magical festoon lighting. So you can enjoy those peaceful canal views even at night or when it’s chilly.
Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Melksham and 15 minutes from Devizes, we’re also close to local attractions like the Wiltshire Heritage Museum and the National Trust village of Lacock. Perfect for guests looking to explore the area.
